Creamy Seafood Chowder

 Serves: 6      Prep Time: 20mins      Cook Time: 25 mins 



  • ¼ cup Butter
  • Medium Onion (diced)
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Thyme
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 stalk Celery (sliced)
  • Carrot (sliced)
  • 500g Potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 5 cups Broth (seafood or chicken)
  • ½ cup White Wine
  • 250g White Fish (cut into chunks)
  • 200g Scallops
  • 300g Prawn Meat
  • 180g Clams (chopped, canned, drained)
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley


  1. Cook onion in butter until tender. Add flour, Old Bay seasoning and thyme and cook 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add carrot, celery, potato, broth and wine & bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in seafood and cream. Cook until fish is fully cooked and flaky and potatoes are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
